Our history

Believing in the importance of digital media and social media platforms and their role in influencing public opinion, the Media Center was established in 2019 with the aim of enabling young people to create influential media content, manage effective electronic campaigns, and reach everyone. A world with media content rich in text and live images, the center also works in partnership with various sectors in Jordan and the Arab region to create better opportunities for community groups and enhance their contribution to policy and decision-making.

This local network consists of 550 girls from different areas of the countryside, the desert and Palestinian refugee camps to achieve the goals of sustainable development.

The Center believes that its projects should include the governorates as well as the capital of Jordan, Amman. Therefore, the Center works to implement many projects and activities in less fortunate areas in Jordan, with a focus on the participation of all genders in this activity. In addition to establishing a local network specialized in “empowering women” economically and politically through entrepreneurship

We Rise Center is a Jordanian non-governmental, non-profit civil society organization, founded in 2018, with the efforts of a youth group active in civil society. The center aims to consolidate the values of active citizenship based on the principles of democracy and human rights, and to enhance social cohesion, accountability, and participation in the decision-making process in Jordan to achieve better development outcomes. In addition to enhancing the role of society by establishing the concept and practices of gender so that it becomes part of the culture of society in Jordan
